there were too many people involved during the whole process of getting into the building , getting checked in and getting to the basement - the process was torturous I think I was asked my DoB about 6 times - not sure if this is totally necessary - I also had a bit more time with Dr Haidry during the last 4 times we did this procedure at the London Clinic but I think it was all a bit of a new venture and team that needed to be bedded in together. The nurse Vic who looked after was very good and I had no issues with the canula being put in which was good. i was woken up after the procedure and rushed out at the end at 1pm being told my wife was waiting but she had been there since 12 and had not asked for me to be woken we had arranged to meet at least after 1pm. I collapsed yesterday exhausted so being left to waken up would have been useful. So I am not as comfortable with the whole setup compared to the London Clinic not sure what you can do about it - but it’s early days for you and I am sure it will get better as the days progress.

not woken me up and also not given me stewed apples when I said I was allergic to apples - not sure acidic stewed apples is a good look on the oesophagus after such a procedure but I was not with it enough to ask for something else

Vic the nurse who looked after me was exceptional Dr Haidry was exceptional and I have total confidence in everything he has done for me at the Cleveland Clinic.
