The staff were very friendly,welcoming and informative. I had my surgery in the evening, the nurse arranged food for me even though it was late at night after the surgery and brought ice packs regularly to keep swelling down. I was in a lot of pain so when I called the nurse, she got me different pain relief so that I could rest. My wound leaked through my dressing, the staff were quick to assist me cleaning the dressing putting another on and replacing my gown. Could not have asked for better care.

The only thing was I was admitted the day before the surgery for tests as I live 2.5 hours away and I was supposed to have surgery the following morning but It was then scheduled for 5pm so I had a lot of waiting but even during that time staff frequently checked on me and the surgeon and anesthesitist came to my room and explained everything in detail

Dr Daurka was incredible, he explained everything extremely well which put me at ease. This was my first surgery but the staff helped calm my nerves. Unfortunately I have forgotten the nurses names but they were very helpful especially the night staff the evening of the surgery.
