I came for a maternity Ultrasound appointment and my appt was for 09.05 on my letter and was informed it was actually 09.30 which I accepted and I was asked to wait in the outside foyer even though anyone after me was waiting inside. After 1hr 25 I reminded them I was still here if they had forgotten me to which the sonographer happened to hear my name and stated I was not even booked in, to come in and wait by the xray rooms. The administrating/ reception staff were extremely rude and so unhelpful to me, one member at the front xray reception did not have any people skills to look at me when she was speaking to me. My usual appointments have been at Northwick Park where I will be requesting for future appointments. I work in healthcare myself and have never come across so many rude staff members nor would I treat any patients especially nervous first time mothers like this. For such a beautiful well designed hospital it is such a pity about the staff. One positive note is that the sonographer was amazing and so kind to me but just a pity about the non medical staff who had some sort of superiority complex.
