What ever we were speaking about, I gave information which my counsellor then built on this using my thoughts & feelings to look at alternative ways of coping with how I was feeling and offering me alternative ways to think more positively. She focused on my positives and talked about the thoughts & feelings I had explored. Then she asked how my feelings were with looking at it differently.

Suggested improvements
My counsellor always used what I said to alter my thinking to see if I came out with a different way to think about a situation. This helped me think differently. Eventually as my course progressed I was helped to change my thought process with a different line of thought. With practice this helped me tremendously. I don't think there is any way a counsellor could do any more than get me thinking differently and more clearly.
