I have done CBT before but the previous time it was just a 30 minute call. I felt that I never connect to my therapist and it didn’t really help. This was during 2020 covid. I then reached back out more for my health anxiety and this was originally 30 min phone call. The therapist at the person spotted that this wasn’t suitable so I was on the waitlist for more in depth which I appreciated. I wouldn’t say the wait time was too long either, I think it was around 4 months but I was expecting it to be longer. These sessions were an hour video chat call with [name removed]. I found these very effective and in depth and related to what I was going through. She listened to me when I said somethings won’t help and adjusted it to that. I think it helped that I connected with her and felt like I could trust. Coming away from the service I believe I have the right skills to be able to carry on and know how to use them if I struggle again. Additionally I know I can reach back out if needed. I really appreciate all the help I was given and much of a difference I am in right now compared to 8 months ago. Thank you :)
