[name removed] was knowledgeable and more trained and was able to suggest different techniques. Sharing the screen and different CBT Materials was useful and we worked as a team throughout the CBT therapy. [name removed] was very respectful and felt I was treated with dignity. I felt now better equipped to manage my OCD intrusive thoughts. I felt communication was really good and flexible with each others schedules. I felt I could openly share stuff with [name removed] without the fear of being judged. [name removed] helped me to normalise my thoughts and recognizing my safety behaviors. It was helpful to know that I had the option to involve my husband in some of the therapy sessions The homework meant that I was able to practice what I have learnt in the sessions at home, which meant I had the opportunity to carry out behavioral experiments to test out my predictions and beliefs independently.

Suggested improvements
The waiting time to see a CBT therapist was around 7 months - a shorter waiting time would be more beneficial to prevent the condition getting worse. This is not a reflection on Saziye but on the service in general.

Response from Campbell House

I am really pleased that Suzie's support has helped and I have passed on your comments. We understand about the need to be seen quickly and are reviewing how we provide mental health services to make them more available. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager
