Having never had so much as a cold before it came as a total shock to the system when I was told that I was ill. I was terrified and as a result became the patient from hell. The staff at Broomfield were so extremely understanding and caring. The hospital itself is very clean and well maintained.
If I have one criticism it is the length of time you have to wait to collect prescriptions at the hospital pharmacy. It has on occasion been well in excess of an hour and when you're already in dire need of getting home this is far too long.
