I called up needing to start the contraceptive pill. The girls I spoke to on reception and Chris who I saw was incredibly kind and respectful, plus I was helped quickly having everything sorted by the end of the day.

I visited the brook today to pick up the contraceptive pill that I was told about over the phone by a lovely woman called Susan she told me in detail everything about it and re assured me that they is more good effects of this pill than they is bad... this put my mind at ease and she made me feel really comfortable talking to her .

The Brook has been an essential service for me during my time at university and beyond. The staff are always so friendly and compassionate. For someone who was naive and unsure, they provide all the information and advice to help me keep myself safe and healthy, without judgement.
The Brook is so necessary for young people in Liverpool as a safe place for them to go and disclose any information that they may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else. I now work in pastoral support for students, and I happily and confidently recommend The Brook to them as somewhere that will provide timely care and treatment, with as much respect and dignity as possible, with kind and compassionate staff. The environment is so clean and welcoming, while allowing privacy and personal treatment.
Suggested improvements
The service was absolutely perfect. Particularly during this pandemic, I know I felt confused and unsure about what options were open to me to find treatment and I am so relieved that the Brook was there for me. Without the Brook, I would've had a lot more anxiety and stress about finding somewhere that provides the same level of care and respect in our local area.

I rang yesterday afternoon about changing contraception because I felt the pill I was on was really affecting my moods. The girls were so helpful and so lovely to chat to and they had everything sorted by that evening they got my down to lift my new prescription. Emma and Chris were so lovely
