very impressed by all staff
The care itself was fine but the staff moral is low as a conversation with a staff member in a lift revealed. The NHS cannot take the strain of a rapidly increasing population for ever!!! From a personal point of view the parking situation is a nightmare making my arrival for a minor op a stressful experience. We were in a long line of cars driving round and round trying to fine a space. There is not enough parking and to make matters worse the road outside and all the surrounding streets are all double yellow lines. Many people were parked on these anyway, presumable prepared to risk getting caught rather than miss an appointment. I can't walk too far but am not a disabled badge holder and I'm sure many other people are in the same position. Something needs to be done!
This hospital has been given formal warning to improve , see news. Seeing how they treated my loved one has scared me for life. Negligent doesn't even come close. See Bradford T & A online news paper, or Yorkshire post for the various story's, from a consultant being jailed, to porters fighting, to a nurse that new very little. Imposters who write raving reviews for this hospital on the net fool no one. Read the news.
Very happy with the professional and efficient care I receive from Judy Jenkins midwife.
This is my second operation at this hospital. The care has been first class from all the staff and I have been kept fully informed throughout. Unfortunately I have had to be a patient in many hospitals in my life to date but the treatment and support I have received here exceeds any other hospital. I have never been kept waiting for things like toileting and, as a person who has undergone an amputation, help has always been given when I needed it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital to anyone.
Staff were very good
They should ban staff leaving reviews on the net. They know who they are.
Yes some HCP that work at this hospital actually give reviews.
Thankfully this hospital has been warned by health care commission to improve.
lots of caring Dr,s and lots of dreadful less qualified HCP, that spoil the place.
This is my first visit to this hospital and I was impressed by the care I received whilst there.
The only thing we found a little difficult was my granddaughter was in a pushchair and access wasn't very good. Not sure which entrance we came through but it had steps down, and no lift, there was a chair lift on the staircase and this was not in use so we had to carry the pushchair down.
There are only two things I would comment on about this hospital is that there is not enough parking although I appreciate that in a built up area this is a problem that is difficult to solve and I am surprised to hear that the hospital staff have to pay for parking.
Also I think that the shop and canteen for visitors leaves a lot to b desired. I had possibly one of the most unpleasant cups of coffee I've had for a long time.
Cannot fault the care and attention received it was excellent .
