I was not sure prior to being admitted what to expect.
I needn't have worried as what I saw was a hospital full of Doctors and Nurses who are passionate about caring for their patients and go the extra mile even when crazily busy and also when under difficult circumstances.
Anyone who spends any time in a ward will see how hard the Doctors and Nurses work, nurses giving up days off, everyone working longer shifts all because they care. The ward I was in was ward 12, it had nurses dealing with large numbers of specialities which was extremely challenging for them and they only succeeded to cope because of their dedication and extreme hard work. A real eye opener, a first hand view of the NHS which is under extreme pressure, I saw the effect of decisions made by Managers which are not the best decisions but saw how hard, how caring and how truly amazing the medical teams are.
