I was very well cared for by wonderful and dedicated staff and cannot thank them enough for their care. It felt like living in a five star hotel with a comfortable ensuite room and regular servings of delicious food. I am now happily back in my own home but can never forget the lovely people who looked after me on the Riverside Ward.
My family, who visited me regularly, were similarly impressed and wish to say thank you too because they felt looked after too, right from their first visit.

To be listened to which a patient is opening up truthfully and honestly about what is getting them to feel like they have no place in the world. Do not give opinions you have no intellect or understanding of. Try to nurture not punish, we punish ourselves enough that's why we need help and support not laughed at or disbelieved.
