I have been on Marina ward for 4 months and I thought I was of sound mind when I came here. It has been an extremely turbulent time and I feel that I am still gaining a lot of insight into my mental health problems which I have been in denial of. I have been through the mill and I have somewhat taken others with me who have been able to give me guidance and whether I see it or not I have been able to come to many conclusions which will only serve to make my life easier.
Suggested improvements
I don't believe that anything could have been done much better if at all in current times. Marina ward is least restrictive and I am very unsure about leaving. However opinionated and verbally and physically aggressive I have been I have been treated unbelievably well which makes me feel that I need to take it forward and use it in my dealings with others in the furture. The whole team here from Dr nayar to the occasional agency staff are a saving grace. I am at a point where I feel confident of a medication free trial in accordance to article 8 of the human rights act. I will be able to make choices and have my mind and body respected as long as I reciprocate this to others.
