Can’t fault the nurses (especially the Goddess of the Wealth), pre surgery specialists and the surgeon. Food was really good and I was well looked after.
The only down side was the physio who saw me day after the surgery, seemed in rush and didn’t find time to even explain me the surgery protocol, which ended up very important as the private physio explained at later date.
The hospital itself is a great venue and the staff are excellent.
I was referred to Mr Nick Howells as a result of a long standing knee problem. Following initial contact with his secretary (Ruth) the process of getting to see Mr Howells and receive a diagnosis/proposed solution was well managed and speedy. The outcome of the consultation was that a total knee replacement was recommended. Surgery was carried out in March 2022. Both surgery and initial recovery went very well.
Without exception, everyone who I connected with at the hospital treated me with care, courtesy and were always very helpful. This includes the reception staff, diagnostic staff (X-ray, MRI etc), surgical staff and the ward staff who cared for me over the few days I was kept in hospital. l can't think of a single time when I was not dealt with or supported in the way that I would have wanted to be. Great work also from the physiotherapy team (with a special shout-out for Kim).
Outstanding service! Highly recommended.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this hospital, exceptional care
Many thanks
All the staff, from the receptionists, secretaries, nurses (in particular Clare), pharmacists and the ancillary staff made my whole experience a pleasant one, even enjoyable ! (Odd to say considering I had an operation!!). Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, always seemed to have time for me and treated me as though I was important to them. They are a great credit to the healthcare industry.
A very welcoming environment with adequate facilities and excellent professional kind caring nurses.
I would highly recommend this hospital.
From start to finish all were knowledgeable and understanding
BMI Bath Clinic is a mix of old and new buildings and yet does not suffer from it. I felt at ease as soon as I went in and found the staff to be pleasant and respectful.
I only had a very minor medical treatment there but was happy with the way I was looked after.
Great experience.
Disappointed, and I certainly would not book the BMI Bath Clinic again.
Had to wait 3 weeks for a one-off consultation yet 5 days before my appointment I received a phone call telling me I had not been sent patient information. Could I provide my email address? Oh, we already have it. Not much point as I never did receive the elusive "patient information"
I was asked to email medical information, which I did within the hour. No confirmation of receipt.
The Bath Clinic staff have obviously never heard of the concept of ventilation, as in fresh air. I arrived on the hottest day of the year so far and was left waiting, and waiting, on a small landing, no air conditioning, no ceiling fans, one small window open high above me. I was so hot I began to feel ill.
Medical consultation adequate, just.
The car park was attractive and easily accessible which is about the most positive thing I can say.
Certainly a very poor experience compared to other hospitals. I would not book again, nor recommend the BMI Bath Clinic.
