A most helpful explanation of my condition and of whether anything could be done to relieve it
I was seen on time, examined and diagnosed. Now awaiting something to fit into my shoe
Seen promptly, listened to and very clear explanations given
The consultant sat in a different room whilst asking me questions where I couldn't see him. His assistant looked on edge. After looking at my knee for 20 seconds he once again returned to the other room, again but engaging with me. The assistant advised I would be sent for a scan then return to discuss the result. I asked if 'I would be talking to the doctor through the wall again'.
Appointment was on time. knowledgeable and polite orthotist. Listened any gave advice. A very constructive visit.
Explained how my brace will work and explained everything
The gentleman we saw for my twins was so lovely! And super cheerful! Made the appointment so much easier
Quick on time and was able to sort out my issue
Efficient, knowledgeable and helpful staff
Absolute joke of an appointment. We drove all the way to Bassetlaw Hospital which is 45 minutes away, and when we went into our appointment the person seeing us wasn’t even our Doctor listed on our appointment letter. We must’ve been sat down for 30 seconds before the appointment concluded, and the ‘doctor’ we saw had a very unconcerned, indifferent expression on his face, not asking any questions or responding to any of ours professionally. Just as we were called in, we were told the appointment is over. He did absolutely no assessments and simply raised my mothers arm up and down a couple times, which her psychotherapist already does, only he does a more thorough examination. That was it, he told us we could go and as we left we wondered why this appointment was even made and what the point was to make us drive that far for 1) a doctor we don’t recognise and 2) an absolute waste of time. There was also someone in the waiting room browsing through TikTok on their phone VERY loudly to the point where some elderly people may not even hear their names being called, and none of the staff cared. What a joke of a hospital.
