Came in because I had serious chest pains and decided to come in by car rather than ambulance as we did not live far away. Everything was fine apart from the receptionist when we arrived. It should be asked what you have come in for first as if it is serious then it should be seen as quickly as possible not 15 minutes to go over what my phone number was! The receptionist nurse Julie trinkle - something like that looked like she couldn’t care less that I was in agony. And when finally got to the point where she asked what I’d come in for then she still didn’t take it seriously and made me wait 20 minutes in the waiting room. At that point my blood pressure had reached dangerous levels from the chest pains and when it was finally measured by a different nurse I was immediately admitted and given treatment. The staff that treated me were perfect. One was slightly larger with brown hair, but she was one of the nicest ones I’ve met. I just wish that I’d not had that initial stress. Next time I’ll just come in by ambulance to avoid her or go to a different hospital!
