I am very happy to recommend The Ashwood Centre, G. U. M. services, they provide a 1st class service; despite being under staffed & under funded. The reception staff are friendly & proficient. The waiting area is scrupulously clean. The clinicians are friendly, first & foremost. However, they are professional to the "N"th degree. Everyone I've encounter, is always smiling & human - which you can't always say about NHS staff. It's clear to me, that on the occasions of my visit that they work as a team. The atmosphere is always very pleasant, the staff busy, but happy - which I feel they must be wholly commended & commented upon. Nothing seems too much trouble, for anybody. Everyone is friendly & non judgemental. I have one very minor negative comment to make, regarding the text back message service. Twice now, I have not received the text message promised. The has also happened to one of my friends in Corby. Each time I've had to call to check for my results, which let's face it, is no great hardship, after all, it's in my best interest! However, it does take time out of someone's, I have no doubt, busy day. If fact two members of staff, because they have to cross check the information. To you Lovely ladies - I apologise profusely. Therefore, please may I suggest that an email option is added to the service mix? Surely, connecting a telephone to a private email address, for those wizzy, clever I.T. people & wouldn't incur much if any cost for writing a few lines of code into the programme. Clients can opt for which method they'd prefer & the programme would automatically select it, so no extra work for the frontliners. Just a suggestion... Now it looks as if the negative outways the positive - which couldn't be further from the truth! The service & the staff are all fabulous! Thank you, Mx
