I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated at Ashford hospital during my recent cataract operation. The nurses and doctors were efficient, thorough and very friendly and considerate. Every step of the procedure was clearly explained and I felt reassured by their calm and supportive manner at all times. This unit is a shining example of the wonderful service provided to us by the NHS - a service which is still the envy of the world. I will be having a second cataract operation on my other eye in a few months time and I can honestly say that I will have no qualms about returning to the Ashford Eye Unit based on this first experience. I truly cannot offer any suggestions on possible improvement since you can't improve on perfection!
