This service is essential for families caring for a family member with severe learning disabilities as it gives them a well earned break from their responsibilities and so enables them to continue care at home. Frankly, without this service many of us would be unable to carry on so it's considered an absolute lifeline. It is particularly good in that staff are well trained, know the people in their care well and listen properly to information provided. This enables carers to take a break with peace of mind, knowing their loved one will be well looked after.
