You are "greeted" at the surgery by a computer screen which you are supposed to use to let them know you have arrived. The receptionist will not even look up and acknowledge you. You are then called in to the doctor's room by a loud beep and a written scrolling LED display. Blink and you miss it. What happened to the human touch and actually speaking to a person. All very impersonal and unwelcoming. I got the feeling that nobody cares and that I am wasting their time. Should these people be in the caring profession ?? During the winter months it is impossible to get an appointment even when the doctor is the one requesting that you attend. You have to enter a daily lottery and ring at surgery opening time and hope that there is one appointment left for you. If I ran a business like this, I would have no customers left - diabolical
