I am very happy with Westgate Surgery. Dr Williams is an excellent doctor, knowledgeable, approachable and thorough. The receptionists are always helpful and polite, although getting through on the phone can be time consuming. However, knowing what number you are in the queue, means you can decide whether to phone back.

I was offered a telephone appointment, unfortunately I have this ghastly virus which wouldn’t go with out antibiotics. The service was very helpful and professional all round . I have always found the surgery to be professional and helpful .

I’m always happy with the service from the surgery, both now and over the years when I had young children .

I used the Patient Access online booking system to get an on the day appointment. Had a choice of times. Dr Williams called me at the booked time and as always offered good advice and treatment for my issue. I had a prescription for medication ready to pick up, that same morning, at local pharmacy. I prefer to book my appointments online rather than by telephone as I find this more efficient.

Originally phoned surgery for appointment and told there was a 10 day wait, however was told to phone the next morning to book an on the day appointment, which I did. I have only been with the surgery for 6 months so was meeting my Dr for the first time, Dr Williams was really thorough and clear with her assessment, am awaiting some results from hospital, however feel really confident if further investigation is needed, Dr W will make the next steps happen.
