Very disappointed with the care received at Victoria Gardens Surgery. Was once a patient at the practice as a youngster and have lived in Cardiff for the past 12 years, after my return, I needed to re register with the surgery due to an minor accident. I was seen as an emergency appointment by Dr Bowen who I found very rude and condescending. During my time in the room I started to get very upset about things that were going on in my personal life and asked her what services were available within the practice to help me get through the problems I was suffering with privately. I was handed the number to the Samaritans and basically dismissed from the room. I have never received such poor care in my life, let alone from a registered practitioner. In comparison to the care received during my time at my previous surgery in Penarth in Cardiff, Victoria Gardens surgery has drastically gone down in my estimations. Previously at the surgery I have always seen Dr Devichand, alongside Dr Thomas and Dr Rogers who have now retired. All of which I have found much more helpful, thankfully Dr Devichand is still practicing otherwise I would look further afield in having someone else care for my needs.
