I was approached by a Practice Nurse by telephone enquiring into a medication issue
in respect of a Repeat Prescription I had requested. She went into the matter thoroughly without undue pressure on me. Discussed other issues including forth coming Blood testing included other issues I suffer with and added a Blood test to cover one of those. Also when advised I was suffering badly with another enquired that if I wished I should come in to have the matter reviewed. I declined for no other reason than I knew the advice that would be given and I decided myself the answer was to take easy! - which I can afford to do-such is being nearly an 'Octo'.But I knowing that they are there if need be.Medical science has yet to reach further than that, but perhaps I might be the first to live on Mars!

I have recently moved from another local surgery, so far and am really pleased with the level of care I have received so far from this team. Everyone from receptionist to G.P. was very professional and I felt reassured that I was being treated with respect and my concerns taking seriously.
An extraordinary difference in the quality of care to my previous surgery.

Both on mutual presence and on the telephone the Receptionists are helpful and understanding. That is where the care starts. It is followed by the Nurses who carry out that care in depth, with their medical advice. If need be they know when to bring in a Doctor. As a patient I could not wish for better. May I also say - there must be the staff and Management, all contributing to a well run practice. Thank you all.

I'm finding dealing with the surgery extremely stressful. More than half the time promised phone calls are not made, leaving me to chase for information or prescriptions. Currently I'm again trying to call to ask whether mt prescription has been sent as promised, which is no critical as I will run out tonight. But the phones are still on the out of hours message 45 minutes after the surgery is supposed to open!

I find it very difficult to get an appointment, especially during term time. The drop in system is helpful if you live on campus, but unless you can get there practically as soon as the health centre opens you will be waiting a long time to see anyone. I think that because they have so many patients the health centre is under a great strain. When the nurse gave me a card to give to the receptionist relaying a message to book an appointment so I can see a doctor this week and then I am told there's no appointments until the following Thursday it does disappoint me a lot. Will probably be registering elsewhere soon.
