My 91 year old father has been told by his his surgery to make an appointment to discuss his recent blood test results with his doctor. I have been on the phone for 2 days solid but cannot even get in the queue! What is it coming to when they worry an old man like this !

Suggested improvements
Answer the phone to start with! Make your queue longer? Or better still let people book advance appointments. It feels like a blame game...you text to say there's a problem then create lots of stress for their patients. NOT GOOD!
