I think the main problem with this surgery is that they don't have the capacity to treat their patients with the care they deserve, they simply don't have enough staff. The doctors I have seen have all been professional and helpful, and most of the receptionists too, but it is extremely hard to get an appointment, or indeed even get a telephone conversation. This can be extremely frustrating and emotionally draining. Without exaggeration I have spent many hours on hold with this surgery, and this week I couldn't even get through, so I went down to the surgery in person to try and book an appointment, but was told to call back during telephone hours, which I again tried, and sure enough, the queue was already full so I was simply cut off (again). To save myself more frustration, my family and I are now changing surgery, and hopefully fewer people on their list will enable them to give their patients the care that they deserve. I called this other surgery in the area with good reviews, and I actually got a person on the other end and not an answering machine! Oh, the relief!
