So the care at this practice is a fairly high standard - and of course that is the most important thing. However, at 2 pm today I called the desk to book an appointment that wasn't the ONLY session their automated service would allow. I was on hold for two hours before I decided to go to the surgery directly and show them the little light on their desk that was me STILL ON HOLD. They then offered me an appointment within the hour. My problem is not the staff it's the terrible system in place. They need a lot more staff not just one more - a lot more. Furthermore they need to not be afraid to pick up the phone in fear of a patient coming through the door as it could be someone less a able than I who can't get to the surgery to talk in person.
