Booking an appointment at the practice is extremely difficult. Recently when I called to arrange an appointment they would merely instruct me to call on a later occasion with no insight given as to the potential availability of an appointment in the future. This is extremely problematic as it makes it impossible to plan one's day around work commitments, when told to call the practice at 8.30 the next day without knowing if and when you'll receive an appointment. Furthermore given the fact I am scheduled to go abroad in the next few days, this uncertainty is particularly problematic as it will likely make it inconceivable to go elsewhere for treatment should I not receive an appointment beforehand. The system in use therefore seems completely moronic and furthermore I have always found the reception staff to be rude and seemingly uninterested in helping the patients, being largely indifferent to the inconvenience their inability to assist causes. On the few occasions I have been able to get an appointment I have however always found the doctors to be courteous, helpful and highly competent.

The process in how appointments can be booked is easy. They can be booked in person, over the telephone or online.If there are no appointments available to book, patients who call the practice in the morning before 10.15 am are offered a call back by the duty doctor. If patients call after this time they could leave a message for a clinician to call them back or book an appointment for another day. The number of appointments this practice offers is more than 50% above the NHS guidance. The Reception or Practice Manager would like to meet with you to resolve allegations that our staff are rude,unhelpful and uncaring. Would you please contact us as soon as possible.
