The nurse taking bloods hasn’t the first clue about hand hygiene, first touching door handles, the reception release button and computer keyboard then palpating a vein to take blood. The cotton bud and etc laid on the desk next to the keyboard used to then cover the puncture. She also gave me information about providing a sample for pathology which was alarmingly innacurate. Twice this surgery have failed to inform me of blood test results when I’ve had urgent prescriptions and should have been informed that medication had been made available to alleviate my illness. I can’t say I’m impressed. The reception staff are however very helpful and I haven’t had a bad experience with any of the doctors.
