I'm new to the area and have been with this practise only 4 months. I've found the service absolutely appalling compared to my previous GP. The people on reception are really not helpful, quite rude and are dismissive face-to-face. I saw a doctor, had to go to another hospital to get blood tests, and then was told to ring my doctor to discuss the results. I spoke to a receptionist who was to put me through to a doctor. I was on hold for 32 minutes only then to be told that a doctor wasn't available and someone would call me back. I kept on being picked up and then re-put on hold. The funny thing is that when someone did finally answer they didn't know who I was or what I was waiting for (which I had previously explained). I had to go through the process of giving my name and my details again. The NHS being under-funded and under-staffed is one thing, but you could at least treat your patients with some degree of dignity.
