Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to get an appointment unless you queue up outside the surgery from 7.30am to get one of the limited emergency ones. Anything pre-booked seems to be three to four weeks in advance. For someone working full time, it involves taking a lot of time off if you need to try and see a doctor. My experiences with everything else about the practice have been very positive. Friendly and helpful staff, caring and knowledgeable doctors, fast test results and a very efficient online prescription service. I feel I have received really good care from the surgery.

I found the music playing at the surgery loud and irritating, particularly combined with my anxiety about seeing the doctor. Music is a very personal thing and not everyone will like everything, but a relaxing tune in the background is probably welcomed by all. Otherwise no music is a much better option. Thanks

I like the way the Doctors listen to what you have to say and respond , they don't just hear and reach for a prescription and away you go.

Very difficult to get appointments had to book my recent one 10 days ago . All doctors very professional some show more caring than others waiting times to see the doctor vary Surgery could be made to look much more welcoming The reception staff very helpful for and patient.

I have hated this surgery since I moved here 3 years ago. Nigh on impossible to get an appointment when you want one, even if you do book online which I do. There are never any late afternoon/evening appointments. They do not cater for working people at all. Receptionists not very good at their job. Today I had asked to see the nurse who specialised in HRT whom I had seen 3 years ago, I specifically asked on the phone when booking if she was still there. Guess what, I arrived for appointment (having had to take 2 hours off work and I am self-employed) to be booked in with a nurse who could not change prescription and said Margaret had left and I would have to see a doctor. OK so that will be another 2-3 weeks time and another 2-3 hours off work because of unsuitable appointment times. Wish I could find a better practice. Please will someone post one they have been recommended. I can't believe I will have to suffer this practice any longer - I would rather move! And I can't post this message unless I give my age and ethnicity - disgraceful!
