I was very satisfied with the appointment, but disappointed that I had to wait 4 weeks to get it.

I received a message from the doctor saying he wanted to see me, but I couldn’t get an appointment in less than 4 weeks. I was anxious about the appointment because it was to discuss the results of a head scan.

I came for blood tests that were due 4 weeks after the first blood tests, these ending up being 6-7 weeks after as my appointment was cancelled due to staffing issues. The lady taking my blood found it difficult to make and maintain conversation which didn't help with anxiety levels. I've had my blood taken three times and no one has told me why they were monitoring them in the first place. I haven't been asked if I have any symptoms so how can anyone make an effective diagnosis without speaking to the patient?

Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
