Very good surgery receptionist very helpful and usually get a telephone appointment on the morning I call. occasionally have to re ring next day but I do persevere from 8am Doctors helpful Dr Gold, Dr Nichols & Dr Hanna all kind and helpful.

Suggested improvements
Maybe as things open up a bit more face to face appointments following phone consultation

Really disappointed in the changes at this surgery. Very difficult to get an appointment and always told to visit or telephone the surgery at 8.00am. When you get through on the telephone all of the appointments have already been given out. The staff spend more time on the telephone than communicating with the patient in front of them at the desk. Obviously need to rethink the appointment system and the number of receptionists available to answer the telephone. If you are lucky enough to get to see a doctor the care received is good. I notice that some of the Doctors are now running a Private GP Service from the premises as well as their NHS Practice. Either stop taking on more patients or increase the number of NHS appointments available.

Appalling service :( Over 7 days to book an appointment to check a wound and change dressing. Despite being told by the hospital that it should be done within a couple of days because of the risk of infection. To make matters worse the desk staff don't really seem to care or realise that this is not acceptable - "Take it or leave it" attitude that we all seem to have to accept from GP's surgeries these days - Very Sad :( Went to Hospital and was told off for not going to the doctors - they said that they must see me!! Explained the response from Lantern and they decided to treat me. Wound was infected and Antibiotic dose had to be doubled (may still need a reclean in surgery)!! So in summary if I had waited 7 days to be seen by Lantern I may have become very sick from the infected wound. WHY?? Are the desk staff not trained to identify when treatment is urgent? They were told by myself that it was urgent and alerted to the risk of infection, why did they not believe me? Or do they simply not care?

The "new website" I found was totally useless, could not register as a new patient, kept going round in circles and finding a lovely picture of a tree!! Best to just ring them up and hold on for ages to try and get an appointment.
