The Grove Medical Centre is an excellent Health Centre. It can be frustrating to get through on the phone at times, but in my experience it's very rare an appointment is not given on the day. The ladies on reception have a thankless task, it's not their fault there are not more appointments available. I have heard how rude people can be to them, and the fact people don't turn up for consultations is outrageous. If we had to pay for an appointment I'm sure there would be less no shows. The Doctors at The Grove are caring and very professional, the 'blood ladies' and nurses always very kind. The NHS comes in for a lot of criticism, but I am very thankful for it and the people who work there.
