An omission of my previous lengthy review of my 30 years of first rate service from the Ferns practice was to mention that the frontline reception people and "back office" staff are invariably pretty damn cool and calm and wise, often under a good deal of pressure and from high levels of expectancy of instant answers and results from patients and their carers. Thank you, ladies. My only suggestion is that a touch screen system is re-introduced for checking in for appts. The practice had one for a while some time ago but withdrew, presumably for technical or admin problems. It would shorten the queue at reception and take one job away from busy receptionists.
