A receptionist wasn't at all helpful when the weighing machine broke and a cut my arm on the sleeve. It was bleeding ,about a 1.5" deep graze. She kept me waiting ages for a plaster and then brought a small round blood test one which was useless. She didn't bother to look at my arm or to care that the machine had a sharp piece inside the sleeve. Please keep suitable plasters and make sure receptionists know where they are and that they are more caring in their attitude.

Response from The Bromley Common Practice

Thank you for your feedback. I'm very concerned to hear you cur your arm on the machine. I shall speak to our reception manager and ensure it has now been repaired so that other patients aren't affected. I'm also very sorry the receptionist you spoke to wasn't more helpful. I will arrange for more training for our front of house staff on responding to minor accidents & injuries. Should you wish to contact me further to discuss, please leave your name with reception and I'll call you back, Katie Mitchell (Practice Manager).
