Clean bright and friendly
I attended the Practice yesterday for diagnostic tests, which previously would have involved a trip to the hospital. These were completed by Nurse Rosie Yerlett. It was so easy to attend the practice and much nicer to be treated by someone that is familiar to you. Rosie always makes you feel relaxed and completely comfortable when treating you and takes the trouble to explain exactly the procedure you are to undertake. It is a huge benefit to have these treatments available at our local practice and involves just a brief visit instead of spending a couple of hours plus travel to use the same facilities at the hospital.
Thank you so much for your considered feedback. I shall pass your comments onto Nurse Rosie too.
It is really convenient to be able to have diagnostic tests carried out at the Practice. Previously this would have involved a trip to the hospital which is time consuming. It is very easy to book non urgent appointments on line which leaves the line free for urgent requests for appointments. I have been with this practice for 12 years and have seen the progress that has been achieved during that time. The new premises provide an efficient and comfortable environment for our treatment and enhances the treatment received. I feel very fortunate to be a patient at this practice and appreciate the treatment that I receive there.
Thank you so much for your kind comments
I have been to The Bromley Common Practice a few times and what a pleasant, spacious and airy place it is compared with their old premises.
I have one criticism to make and after seeing Dr Kiran Chanda he agrees. That is that the public Blood Pressure machine is too public. A lot of people wont use it because it is full view of the waiting area and if you do it wrong it can be embarrassing for the patient using it and everybody looks at you.
I am sure it could be repositioned somewhere a bit more private maybe somewhere in the corridor behind the reception.
The above is only my personal opinion and possibly of several other patients.
Thank you taking the time to read this.
Thank you for your feedback. The location of our BP monitor has been discussed often! Do we have it in the main reception area where patients see it and use it more often, or in a side room where it is much more private but often left unused? I shall add your opinion into the mix and pass onto our Patient Participation Group and ask them to make the final decision. Thank you for contacting us with your views, it's only by patients such as yourself doing so that we make further improvements to the service we offer.
The receptionists could be more concerned with problems.
Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry to hear that you don't feel that the receptionists are concerned with your problems. Should you wish to contact the Practice Manager directly she would like to understand in more detail so that further training and support could be provided as necessary.
