My biggest issue is making an appointment that suits me, I have only managed to get through on the phone and make an appointment for a convienient time on a few occations. My default position is to get to the surgery when it opens and book with a receptionist. Employers are more strict about sick leave so loosing a full day counts towards my limit uncertificated allowance after which I am penalised, my daughter has even more restriction on her and this leads to difficulty in getting the treatment she needs for hearing aids and congenital heart defect

Response from The Beacon Health Group

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We have recently reviewed our appointment system and are now offering more appointments that can be booked in advance. I hope you will now find the process of booking appointments a lot easier. Please note that we also offer a late evening surgery with a Doctor and a Nurse, usually on a Wednesday between 6.30-8.30pm. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me at the Surgery - Mrs Bernadette Curtis, Practice Manager.
