The doctors are particularly helpful but a clinician wasn't. She didn't introduce herself or explain her qualifications.She didn't listen to me about my problem. She was not helpful. I left dissatisfied. I had had a very heavy cough and hadn't slept for 3weeks. One receptionist was unable or unwilling to give me an urgent appointment even when I told her I had an abscess on my breast which was at bursting point. She told me to go to South Bristol in no uncertain terms. There are too many patients and not enough appointments. However I am very happy with my doctor. She listens carefully and is prepared to refer when necessary.

I have always been very happy with the service I have received at the health centre. Even if no appointments are available, the advice helpline is excellent and if my problem has needed me to be seen by a Dr then I have been. The receptionists & nurses have also been very nice and helpful.

The same day appointment system is good however with so many patients there is often a long wait but the doctors always seem to be very caring. On line appointments are easy if they are booked early enough.. Most facets of the health services seem to think that all surgeries open at eight o'clock for appointments by telephone this might be a useful addition as it is virtually impossible to book an appointment over the phone and most people seem to queue for ages before the surgery opens. Would it be an idea to have an easier phone consultation system as when I tried to book this it was still a few days to wait so I didn't bother, sometimes immediate advice is needed. On ringing 111 was told to see my doctor the following day if necessary but this is not always possible unfortunately.

Getting a same day appointment is almost impossible unless you wait around for hours whilst feeling poorly at an open surgery. 1 particular Receptionists ive spoken to on the phone on a few occasions is very rude & almost reduced me to tears...hardly a warm & friendly welcome! Do not join this surgery!!

I've been unable to get an appointment the last 3. Times of trying I work full time so not feasible to queue up at 8.30 in the hope of seeing someone my last appointment was over the phone!!
