I think that the care provided is very good, can't think of any significant improvements now that repeat prescriptions are undertake electronically and reminder text messages sent.

The only thing I would like to say is that the music was dreary. As I sat there in the waiting, it went round and round on a loop. How about something a bit more uplifting. We all know that music can have a good effect on people. So come on cheer it up!!

I cannot fault the surgery. The doctors are always caring and helpful. They listen well and are supportive. The receptionists are always helpful and friendly. I have never had to wait too long long for an appointment in the 20 years I have been registered, and they are especially quick to see my children.

I had to wait 50 minutes before and was seen. This is the longest time I have ever waited to see a G.P. The doctor I saw is a good doctor, and apologised for the wait (which) he need not have done. I knew it was -is- first the way things are). I mentioned the period of time I had waited not as an accusation, but first as a fact, as it was relevant to how unwell I was, and the pain I was in. ( I had waited most of the time outside the surgery, Tv arrived having to listen to the 'music'' in the waiting room. To me it is the most appalling assault on my service. I call it "wailing". An unfortunately consequence of sitting outdoors is that it was windy, and a hair blew into my eye. It was extremely painful.

Response from The Apples Medical Centre

Dear Patient, We are sorry that you had to wait extra long to see your GP. With regards to the issue with the music, the music is played to try and keep the conversations in Reception/Dispensary as confidential for our patients. I do understand that not every patient likes the music that is playing, we do try and change the music daily. Many thanks for your feedback Kind Regards Philippa Cannings Practice Manager
