When you are waiting for an appointment as the surgery opens there are 2 receptionists at the window and usually 2 at the back, but it always seems that the 2 at the front answer the phones so therefore walk ins still have to wait. I think a better idea would be that either 1 answers the phones and the other deals with the walk ins or the back receptionists deal with the phones and the front 2 deal with the walk ins. The radio should not be on first thing as half the time the receptionists dont hear what you say so therefore have to repeat again.
