Fantastic surgery but clearly have taken on too many patients.
The 'few' Gp's they have there nowadays are lovely and very competent.
I have waited 4-6 weeks for a general appointment. Sometimes even getting through on the phone is impossible. It's quite a dangerous situation to be honest.
All staff are great and doing their best, there's just not enough of them.
I would have avoided a months long hospital admission if I could have seen my GP - Dr Gowland maybe weekly for a couple of weeks at the time I started to become unwell last year - PTSD. There's no way you can have a GP/patient (build trust) relationship at this surgery anymore.
It's a shame because they're one of the best in my opinion.
I guess it's down to cutbacks etc
