Today I have had made several unsuccessful attempts to make an appointment on the phone. Fifteen minute wait followed by call being disconnected. Then another long wait finally answered by receptionist who thought she was speaking to another caller who must have been holding on. This was immediately disconnected by receptionist when she realised her mistake. I have now given up as I’ve run out of patience and time. I have been a patient at this practice since it was started. The medical care ranges between adequate and good - that is, if you can make an Doctor’s appointment. The appointments system is DIRE . As people in our seventies we find this poor level of service very stressful to deal with. The practice needs to address this issue. I am seriously thinking of trying to change surgeries after 50+ years.
