I'd like to thank Kathy for her great efforts in getting a prescription signed urgently by a doctor for my elderly grandmother. She understood the issues we were experiencing (the hospital being slow in writing to the GP) and acted very efficiently and got the job done whilst being professional and lovely. She then had the prescription sent straight to the chemist to avoid any unnecessary delay. Receptionists are the first point of contact at the doctors (in person or phone) and when they are like Kathy it makes a huge difference. She was very sympathetic to our situation which helped relieve the frustration. Every surgery needs a Kathy!

She is indeed a valued member of our staff as are all of our receptionists who do their utmost to help patients when they can.
