On this occasion, I had an appointment for a blood pressure check with Nurse Lesley. As, yet again, in spite of increased medication, my blood pressure reading was high, I felt it wise to share with her all the problems, both physical and emotional, that I have encountered since May of this year, wondering if they may be contributing to these high readings somewhat. I found in her the most compassionate and understanding hearted person, as she gave me time to go into detail, and made me so glad that I had finally shared with a medic all the worries and frustrations that I have been trying to deal with on my own for so long. I think that, by the time I left, we had both come to an agreement that, indeed, my life experiences recently certainly have had a major impact, and I left the surgery feeling morethan little unburdened, and hopeful that the New Year may, in time, bring about some resolution. I really look forward to our next meeting, and am thankful for this lady and her wisdom and caring.
