I found out that I had Diabetes about 5 years ago and the support that I have is extremely good.
I have a 6 monthly review with the practice nurse Ruth Searles and she take me through the results of the blood test and if I don’t understand something she goes to great lengths to ensure I understand.
She is also very understanding if I have any concerns about my diabetes or related problem and on one occasion called in a surgery doctor for his opinion.
