Very unhelpful receptionists , they rang my partner to arrange a telephone consultation with the gp regarding new medication as prescribed by the hospital . My partner had spoken to them the previous week about this new medication , receptionists assured him that the gp was aware and a prescription would be waiting at the pharmacy , surprise a week later the gp wanted to speak to him re this new med , remember they rang us at a quarter to six in the evening to arrange this , they then refused to book the appointment stating they can't access the slot , I work in a gp practice and know how it works they could have booked the appointment very unhelpful will seriously consider moving surgeries as they have no patient based skills , considering the medication is for an analgesia they have left my partner for an extra week in pain , please reception manager teach your receptionists to look at individual patients and to use judgement
