I have always found the reception staff very personable, friendly and helpful. I'm aware I might have to wait in a queue on the phones and to get an appointment. However depending on my urgency I have either received a call or been booked to see a Dr very quickly. My appointment was running late and the staff kept us informed. The surgery is always spotlessly clean and plenty of cups at the water station! I never feel rushed when see any of the Doctors and feel they really listen. I've never had a problem with prescriptions either.
My only small negative is that I find the new downstairs waiting room a bit small if full of patients especially if they're coughing. Patients aren't always unwell when have to wait in there (eg. having nurse appointment) and I always feel I'll catch something and quite often wait outside the glass room.
I've been with the surgery nearly 40 years and would hate to change.
