Dr quite helpful for some things but not others. You have to wait quite a long time to see your chosen Dr and you have to ring at 8.30 to get same say appts. What can't you make an appt when you are there?

When there are so many complaints about access to GPs and the quality of service bandied about in the press it is a pleasure to be able to say unequivocally that none of this applies to Riverbank. It is always easy to get an appointment, indeed I have often been offered one sooner than I need. The reception staff are always pleasant and helpful as are the nursing and other healthcare staff. Consultations are not hurried and every opportunity is allowed to discuss options. All that one could wish for in a well run practice. Having worked as a GP in the NHS for 35 years myself I understand both the problems that beset practices and the need for good organisation to overcome them. Riverbank seems to me to show all the best features of NHS general practice and none of the less good. Well done to all.
