I recently registered as a new patient at your surgery and had to wait until the next day for an appointment, even though I had a chest infection for the last three weeks.
The doctor I had didn't shake hands with me and I felt he wasn't really, listening to me.
He took down basic details including my blood pressure which I said was always low, he must have pumped the cuff to over 200 and really hurt me. I have several illnesses, the primary one that affects me most and am registered disabled with is, Fibromyalgia, causing inflammation of my tendons, muscles and nerves, which gives me acute pain all the time. He didn't seem to know anything about this. He actually put M.E down on my notes, instead of Fibromyalgia. This was also put on some of my medication when I collected this. He didn't want me to continue with tramadol or the high dose of amitriptyline I have had for years, on a repeat prescription and reluctantly did this. I have had Tramadol for at least a year. I have been on Amitriptyline 100 mg, for nerve pain and depression for 10 years. His comment on this was, we don't normally prescribe such a high dose. Lastly, he prescribed me with a common antibiotic and didn't ask me if I was allergic to this!
I had to wait for a year to get a proficient, professional GP at my old surgery. Now I have to fight all over again to see a good doctor. I'm a retired nurse so I do know something about standards.
Nothing could be improved.
Care was fantastic, I don't see how it could be improved.
Fab service in Midhurst by Dr Eduards.
I saw a young trainee doctor and she was fabulous, very thorough, compassionate and had an extremely pleasing manner. I feel as though my health issue although not obvious was taken seriously.
