Trying to support a relative through very difficult circumstances via this surgery has been a nightmare. It is impossible to get theGP secretaries on the phone, the " call back" and phone consultation system is a nightmare if the patient has any sort of" issues" that make catching the call or speaking on the phone a problem. E mails /letters are not just not answered they are not even acknowledged. There has been no interest in or accomodation of the wider circumstances. The GP 's approach has been off hand , with no sense that they are interested in the patient. A set of test results went missing and despite weeks of nagging from me the surgery did nothing resulting in a delay of over 6 months for a hospital referral that was dependant on those results. Individual staff MAY well provide a good service but the overall operation is very poor and very frustrating.
