My 92 year old neighbour had several falls over the weekend. again early in the week he fell. Surgery just did not want to know, rude staff that showed no compassion or care. When the ambulance came the crew they phoned the surgery to speak to my neighbours GP. He (Dr E) was extremely rude to the ambulance crew and said ' I have not got hours to spare trying to find a non urgent bed' and left it with the ambulance crew. Usually they put him back to bed but the crew were concerned about his general health so decided to take him in. Good job they did, he was in heart failure, dehydrated and confused. It looks like the surgery had not followed up his previous admission to hospital over Christmas and not prescribed drugs recommended by the hospital that may have helped him not need any of this drama. Too many mistakes and not enough care. I seem not to be alone seeing other reviews of this surgery since it was amalgamated into Mounts Bay care. Such poor service, this surgery needs intervention quickly before more lives are put at risk.
